Mozambique is being evaluated in the process of implementing the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), by a team from the Dominican Republic (which was not present) and Burkina Faso. It is recalled that the Assembly of the Republic (AR) ratified the UNCAC through Resolution no. 31/2006, of December 26, and it recommends that the states parties be periodically evaluated by their peers with regard to the application of this international legal instrument against corruption (see articles 63 et seq. of the UNCAC).
