On November 2, 2015, the European Union (EU) team presented the preliminary report on a new assessment of Public Finance Management (PFM) in Mozambique, within the framework of the Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA = public expenditure and financial responsibility). This update of the PEFA notes was eagerly awaited by the donor community and other important actors in the area of public finance in the country, as the Government's plans to organize an evaluation for 2013 never materialized. The last one was in 2010. The map The preliminary draft presented by the EU compares with the PEFA assessment in 2010 (Annex 1).
