The Assembly of the Republic (AR) approved in December 2015 the State Budget (OE) for 2016. Said State Budget was approved after several comments from civil society and negative economic developments in the international panorama for Mozambique.
This analysis aims to establish a comparison (see annex 2) between the 2016 Budget Proposal (POE 2016), published in September 2015, and the 2016 State Budget (OE 2016), approved by the AR in December 2015. This analysis also assesses the extent to which the approved document responds to the comments presented in the note published by CIP1 on POE 2016 Analysis.
