This study tries to present the reader, namely the Mozambican citizen, with a diagnosis of the management of the import of liquid fuels (LC) in Mozambique in the current context of the economic, political, financial and reputational crisis that the country is facing. The guarantee of fuel imports in sufficient quantities and qualities and at competitive prices is a factor of strategic importance for the economic and social life of all Mozambicans and, specifically, for the government, economic agents and land and maritime transport companies. and air. However, there is evidence that fuel imports are susceptible to corruption and mismanagement at key moments in the import cycle that produce additional costs for the already fragile economy.
