The partners holding the concession for the exploration, prospecting and exploration of natural gas in area 4 of the Rovuma Basin, in northern Mozambique, namely, Eni (concessionaire), Galp, Mitsui, CNPC and ENH, finally made the decision Final investment for the implementation of the floating liquefied natural gas production plant (FLNG).
The formalization of the start of the project took place in Maputo, at an event publicly announced as launching the LNG project, organized by Eni and its partners in the consortium and which was attended by the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, from the Minister of Mineral Resources , who made a positive speech, full of promises about the project's gains, from the Governor of Cabo Delgado, where the project will be implemented, who did not have the right to speak, and leaders of the companies participating in the project.
