It has been the practice of the Public Ministry (MP) to shield itself in the secrecy of justice1 so as not to make public the names of agents involved in cases of “great corruption”, especially when high-ranking public officials or leading figures linked to the ruling party are involved, in this case, Frelimo, and also members of the Government. The “Odebrecht case” is an example of the withholding of information to which reference is made and with enough evidence that concrete and necessary actions have been neglected in order to obtain evidential material in a privileged way, given the international contours of the same. . To illustrate the action of the MP, one can also refer to the “Embraer-LAM case”, where the names of the Mozambicans involved are not yet known, at least officially.
