FUEL STORAGE A PROBLEM GREATERING CHAOS IN THE OIL INDUSTRY IN MOZAMBIQUE

In the fuel import logistics chain, storage is a bottleneck. The costs incurred by delays in unloading ships due to lack of storage are significant. The existing storage is mainly intended for the movement of products in transit to neighboring countries and, less so, for consumption in the domestic market.

This stems from the fact that, in recent years, there has been a lack of investment in new facilities and others have been closed due to lack of maintenance. This situation was caused, in part, by the lack of timely revision of sales prices, resulting in a deficit functioning of the similar companies.
