The role of the President of Mozambique in the process of hidden debts is questioned by the Center for Public Integrity (CPI), which asks how far Filipe Nyusi, then Defense Minister, has clean hands on the matter.
“To what extent the President of the Republic, Minister of Defense at the time of contracting debts, has clean hands in this sad episode in the history of Mozambique”, says a note from that non-governmental organization that monitors the transparency of public management in the country.
