The National Institute of Land Transport (INATTER) acquired, through direct agreement, three notebook computers of the Lenovo brand, model I5, with a unit cost of 1,159,282.08 Meticais, totaling 3,477,848.40 Meticais, paid to Brithol Michcoma1, a company supplying the equipment. Computers are used to capture biometric data for the production of driving licenses. Although the value of the acquisition requires a tender, pursuant to Decree No. 5/2016 of 8 March, which regulates the Public Procurement, INATTER opted for the direct agreement modality, justifying the “urgency” that there was, given that the “ existing equipment was broken”.
