The CIP and the ONP undertake to establish a lasting and fruitful collaboration, with a view to the development and implementation of projects that translate the strengthening of research, knowledge and social intervention in the broad theme of ethics, fraud and governance in Mozambique and for a more effective prevention and detection of fraud, unrecorded economy and corruption in the country.
Projects will be developed and implemented with a view to:
a) Strengthen the participation of the ONP in public and private processes to promote transparency, integrity and ethics in the various domains of Mozambican society, contributing to the social and economic development of the country;
b) Gather information and promote investigation in the area of corruption, transparency and integrity and the defense of human rights, using scientific research and investigative journalism;
c) Promote debates and public campaigns on more transparent practices in the management of the public good at all levels of state intervention;
d) Support the capacity building of the ONP in the design and implementation of social intervention projects in the area of corruption, transparency, integrity and good governance;
e) Support the publication of dossiers and studies on integrity, transparency, ethics and good governance;
f) Protect whistleblowers and victims of corruption.
