The extension of the term of management of the Port of Beira in favor of Cornelder Moçambique, places Minister Carlos Mesquita in a clear situation of violation of the Public Probity Law, specifically with regard to the rules related to conflicts of interest. The aforementioned minister, as a member of the Government, also took part in the session in which this measure was approved, in a case where his individual/business interests collided with the public interest.
