The intermediate tabulation of the results of the October 10 elections in progress continues, outside legal deadlines and amidst much suspense. In many of the 53 municipalities the results are already known. Frelimo won, under strong contestation and in some cases very tightly, in all municipalities in the southern region, considered its bastion.
