On October 10, 2018, the country's fifth municipal elections were held, which took place in 53 municipalities under a new municipal electoral law.Votar Moçambique, a program that brings together civil society organizations, the Learning Center and Civil Society Training (CESC), Public Integrity Center (CIP), National Forum of Community Radios (FORCOM), Institute of Social and Economic Studies (IESE), Civil Society Support Mechanism Foundation (Foundation MASC) and Women and Law in Southern Africa Research and Education Trust (WLSA), followed the scrutiny as well as its antecedent and ongoing phases, namely the tabulation and dissemination of the results.
