É imperativo que exista um controlo cerrado sobre a ajuda canalizada por via do INGC em todas as suas fases

Several citizens, national and international public and private institutions have been in recent days channeling aid in different ways: monetary values, food items that are not easily perishable and others destined for the victims of the IDAI cyclone in the central region of Mozambique, with particular emphasis on the provinces de Sofala (by far the most severely affected by this natural disaster, either by the loss of human life, destruction of public and private infrastructure and extension), Manica and Zambézia. It should be noted that so far the real extent of the damage caused by the cyclone is not known, and the public authorities are constantly updating its consequences.

In this context, there has been a public outcry that has become widespread and often has as a common denominator the distrust that this same help may not reach the affected populations. The reasons for this are related to the lack of clarity in the control and management of aid by the entity in charge of this, namely the National Institute for the Management of Disasters (INGC).
