The Budget Monitoring Forum (FMO) is a group of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) committed to monitoring and influencing national public finances. Within the scope of its joint activities, it is implementing, at the national level, several advocacy and Budget monitoring activities that aim to influence the Government on the need to fulfill the allocation promises set out in the State Budgets approved annually.
These activities are being implemented through the Project FMO More – Raising the value of money at the service of the citizen – Monitoring of Public Finance Management, financed by the European Union, under the Support Program for Non-State Actors in Mozambique – Participation for Inclusive Growth II [Program to Support Non-State Actors in Mozambique (PAANE) II], involving five organizations: N'weti – Communication for Health, the Center for Public Integrity (CIP), the Center for Learning and Training for Civil Society (CESC ), the Rural Environment Observatory (OMR) and the Mozambican Debt Group (GMD).
It is in this sense that under the motto "Raising the value of money at the service of the citizen", the event that will be held on the day July 17th at the VIP Hotel, aims to reflect on the budget execution in the first four years of implementation of the PQG and Budget 2019 specifically in the agriculture sector.
