The transparency of development aid, including in the Health Sector, represents a complex and challenging issue, given that the production and availability of classified information on external aid is scarce and requires judiciousness.
This document analyzes aid transparency in the Health Sector in Mozambique in the period 2012-2018.
The analysis shows that aid to the health sector in Mozambique is not transparent, making the monitoring process difficult because there is no clear idea of the resources available, which makes it difficult to see if aid commitments are being fulfilled. One of the reasons is that the information provided by the different projects is incomplete and extremely fragmented.
