Andrew Pearse told a curious story about Armando Ndambi Guebuza, the eldest son of the former president of the Republic, Armando Emtherelio Guebuza, now detained in Maputo in connection with hidden debts. He said that Ndambi lived for about a year in the house of Iskandar Safa, in southern France, and when he was back in Mozambique he took $100,000 in his suitcase on board the plane. From a stopover in Dubai, it was held back by local authorities, but then let go thanks to assistance from Privinvest. In France, Ndambi wanted to buy a house for a prostitute for €11 million.
