The statements/allegations made by Jean Boustani, and involving the former head of State, Armando Guebuza, and the current one, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, in the case of illegal or “hidden” debts, oblige the Public Ministry (MP) to start unofficially an “inquiry process” against the former. From the reports put forward by the Center for Public Integrity (CIP) and by the Mozambican press that was present at the New York (NY) trial, if not through intent or guilt, the possibility is raised that the former Mozambican statesman acted negligently, allowing that the facts happened. From the Boustani trial, pronouncements emerged regarding Guebuza's conduct in this case.
