The Jean Boustani Trial, in the United States of America (USA), produced information of great public interest, revealing details of the alleged involvement of top Mozambican state leaders in illicit activities. Cases of payment of millions of dollars in bribes and other gratuities in kind were mentioned, in connection with the contracting of hidden debts.
The Public Integrity Center (CIP) followed the entire trial and published relevant information as it was revealed in court. After the trial, the CIP intends to share with the Mozambican and international media based in Mozambique, all the official information revealed in the trial.
