On 15 June, the Public Integrity Center (CIP) presented the results of an investigation into cases of sexual exploitation of inmates in the women's penitentiary in Ndlavela. As a result, the Minister of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs, Helene Kida, traveled the day after the presentation of the results of the investigation to the prison. On the occasion, the Minister announced the creation of an “independent commission” of inquiry to verify the veracity of the facts.
