Effective peace in Mozambique

Civil society wants more inclusion in the consensual administrative decentralization process. For them, some points about the proposal for a punctual revision of the constitution leave doubts in relation to a lasting peace.

The concerns are expressed in a document signed by twenty-five civil society organizations and which will be submitted to the Assembly of the Republic. In the document, civil society defends, for example, that the right acquired by citizens to elect municipal presidents by votes must be respected.
