Mozambique's Public Integrity Center (CIP) points out that the lack of accountability and transparency in the granting of licenses, authorizations and contracts are at the root of corruption in the mining sector. A study released this Wednesday (25.07) also points out that the main vulnerability in the mining licensing process in the country is related to non-compliance with established deadlines.
