The Government's Five-Year Program 2015-2019 (PQG) presents inconsistent statistical data on the electricity sector. There is a discrepancy between the Government's data and those of the National Statistics Institute (INE), the central executive body of the National Statistical System, which is responsible for producing and disseminating official statistical information of general interest to the country. Statistics Portugal is responsible for the notation, calculation, dissemination and coordination of the statistical data that may be entrusted by the Government under the terms of its business plan.
