Mozambique recorded an improvement in the Transparency International (TI) Corruption Perception Index – 2019 after having seen sharp declines in recent years, especially after the discovery of the “hidden debts” scandal. That is, if in the 2018 index Mozambique was found, in terms of ranking (classification), at 146 and with the score (score) 23, in 2019, in terms of classification, it is at the place at 126 and with the score of 26. I mean, in terms of classification, it improved 12 places and in terms of score 3, which can be considered significant.
