This document constitutes the Homoine District Expenditure Execution Assessment Report in fiscal year 2012. This report provides the current ranking of the management and execution processes of funds managed at the district level under the decentralization policy. It includes a description of the activities carried out in the year under review and the quality of the infrastructure planned for its construction and rehabilitation.
The report also compares the stage of activities carried out and to be carried out in fiscal year 2011. The fieldwork was carried out by a team of researchers from the Center for Public Integrity with the collaboration of the research team of the Wonelela Association and technicians from the Government of the Homoine district within the scope of the partnership that exists between the parties in the Budget Monitoring, Public Expenditure Tracking and Social Audit Program in the province of Inhambane, aiming to contribute to increasing the effectiveness of public spending in Mozambique as a bias towards poverty reduction.
