The fight against corruption has come to dominate the speech of the President of the Republic in the last two months, with the recognition that this is an evil that contributes to the impoverishment of the country and of Mozambicans.
On October 13 this year, speaking at the opening of the National Meeting with members of the Advisory Councils of Ministries and guests, Nyusi referred to the urgency of fighting corruption. It should be noted that the meeting was aimed at middle management staff, which, a priori, shows a selectivity in the fight against corruption, since the meeting did not include holders of public office at the highest level, ie, ministers and others.
It is necessary to have a holistic view of the fight against corruption, since it is not only the task of intermediate directors of the Public Administration, but it is up to all levels.
