Since the current mining law came into force, several recommendations have been issued by various institutions¸ and by the CIP in particular, with a view to adopting measures so that the exercise of mining activity in Mozambique is as transparent as possible and that the law benefits in fact the communities in which the activities are inserted and also contribute to the economic development of the country in general. In this sense, once the revision of the Mining Law is underway, the CIP presents its comments, focusing on aspects related to transparency, benefits for host communities and revenue for the State.
